EverydaySummer · An education studio

Making everyday life a little gentler for everyone.

We build learning tools for the kinds of ordinary days that should be open to everyone. Our first product, SlowKids, is a series of small practices that meets a child where they are — from earliest cognition through multiplication.

About us

We build everyday learning tools that everyone can share.

EverydaySummer is a small studio that designs learning tools as if for an ordinary summer day — open, unhurried, available to anyone. We start by listening to caregivers, teachers, and therapists, narrow scope to a single moment of stuck-ness, and build what would help most there.

  • 🌿

    Slowly, fully

We talk long enough with users to write a single line of code with intent. We value steps that match more than steps that hurry.

  • 🎯

    Small, precise

Narrowing scope is the hardest part. We hold tight to the intent of a single screen, a single tap.

  • 🤝

    At everyone's threshold

We aim for products usable from the lowest doorstep. The same joy should reach children who learn differently.

  • 🪵

    For the long run

We build tools meant to last longer than trends — not used once and gone, but returned to.

First product

SlowKids — 31 small math practices, paced for the child.

From the very first cognitive moves — color, line, dot — to single-digit arithmetic and times tables, SlowKids gives the same idea many angles and patient repetition.

Available now on the App Store and Google Play.

You can also preview each module on the web.

How we work

Listening first. Building narrow.

  • Caregivers

    Sitting beside the child

Without flashy rewards, with the child's pace. Quick to see what was attempted today, easy to come back tomorrow.

  • Teachers

Holding different speeds in one classroom

Tightly-staged activities you can pull into a lesson, letting students at different points work without falling behind.

  • Therapists

    Layers that build across sessions

Fine-grained stages across cognition, number sense, and arithmetic — catch where a child stalls and revisit the same idea from different angles.

Questions

Things people ask us.

Who is the SlowKids series for?
Children who pick up concepts more slowly than peers, who need more repetition, and the caregivers, teachers, and therapists walking alongside them. It does not assume a specific diagnosis — built from foundational cognition through single-digit arithmetic and multiplication tables.
Can I try it right now?
Yes — SlowKids is available on both the iOS App Store and Google Play. You can also preview each module on the web through the cards below.
How is this different from other learning apps?
Instead of pushing toward quick wins, SlowKids lets the same concept be repeated from multiple angles. No stars, no levels, no character rewards — just clearly-staged steps and a quiet screen, so a child can stay at their own pace.
